Terms & Conditions of Rental Agreement
Your Rental Agreement with Us
Please read and accept these Terms and Conditions carefully before signing the agreement. If you have any questions or concerns, contact our rental staff for clarification.

Vehicle Availability
While we strive to provide the exact make and model reserved, a similar or better vehicle may be offered.
Identification
You must present your driving license every time you hire a vehicle, along with two additional forms of ID, including a utility bill or an official letter to your current address.

Note: We reserve the right to refuse your rental if proper identification is not provided.

Driving Licence
All drivers must have a current, full valid driving license. UK license holders must produce both the photo card and the Convictions Verification Page from the DVLA Database. Foreign drivers need to present their national license and an International Driving Permit (IDP) if they are non-EU, EEA residents. Other drivers may drive in the UK for up to one year from the start of residency, with proof of entry shown via passport.

Additional Drivers
Additional drivers may be insured to drive the vehicle if they meet our insurance requirements.

Fuel
The fuel gauge reading will be noted on the pre-rental check form and rental agreement. Return the vehicle with the same fuel level as when the rental began. A refueling charge will apply if the fuel level is lower, and no refund will be given for excess fuel.

Hiring Period
The hiring period is calculated on a 24-hour basis. Rental times can be adjusted based on vehicle availability and individual requirements.

Payment
Full rental cost and a damage deposit must be paid before the vehicle is released. Payment must be made by major credit/debit cards or via bank transfer. Payment card details must be provided pre rental. Note: card details will be destroyed once the vehicle on hire is returned.

Your Responsibilities

Look after the vehicle and its keys.

Lock the vehicle when not in use and use any supplied security devices.

Protect the vehicle from weather damage.

Use the correct fuel.
-
Do not sell, rent, or dispose of the vehicle or its parts.

Do not give anyone legal rights over the vehicle.

Do not let anyone work on the vehicle without permission. Provide receipts for any approved work to get a refund.

Notify us of any faults as soon as possible.

Full payment of insurance excess must be paid by the hiree if any damage occurs to any of our vehicles by the hirer during the rental period if we need to make a claim with our insurer’s.
In Case of an Incident
Do not admit responsibility. Collect names and addresses of all parties involved, including witnesses. Secure the vehicle, notify the police if there are injuries or disputes, and call our office immediately. Complete our incident report form upon returning the vehicle, or provide verbal details if necessary. Report the incident within 24 hours.
Conditions for Using the Vehicle
Only you or a named driver on the insurance application may drive the vehicle. The vehicle must not be used for:

Hire or reward (unless extended on the insurance certificate).

Illegal activities.

Racing, competitions, rallies, track days, or speed tests.

Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Traveling outside England, Scotland, and Wales without written permission.

Overloading beyond manufacturer's recommendations.

Commercial purposes requiring an operator's license if not possessed.
Towing
Towing is not allowed unless we provide written permission.
Returning Rental Vehicles
Check for personal belongings before returning the vehicle. Vehicles must be returned during opening hours. We are not responsible for damage or theft of vehicles returned after hours. If agreed to return outside business hours, you remain responsible for the vehicle until inspected by our staff. Late returns incur daily rental charges.
Repairs and Costs
You will pay for repairs if:

Extra costs are needed to return the vehicle to its pre-rental condition.

The vehicle is damaged while in your care.
Overseas Travel
With prior approval, vehicles may be taken abroad, subject to restrictions and surcharges for Green Card provision.
Our Responsibilities
We maintain the vehicle to at least the manufacturer's recommended standard, ensuring it is roadworthy and suitable for rental. We are responsible for:

The vehicle not matching its description.

The vehicle not being of expected quality.

The vehicle not being fit to drive.

Injuries or death caused by our negligence.

Losses due to breach of this agreement.

We are not responsible for indirect losses (e.g., loss of profits).
Property
We are only responsible for loss or damage to property left in the vehicle if due to our negligence or breach of contract.
Charges
Charges are based on our current price list and include:

Rental and additional charges per the agreement.

Charges for loss or damage due to non-compliance with responsibilities.

Refueling service charges.
-
Fines and court costs for traffic offenses including ULEZ charges.

Loss-of-income charges if the vehicle is unavailable due to repairs.

Delivery and collection rates.

Daily interest on overdue payments at 4% above Barclays Bank PLC's base rate.

Applicable taxes

You are responsible for all charges even if you request someone else to pay them.
Ending the Agreement
We may end the agreement if you do not meet its conditions or if you face bankruptcy or liquidation. This does not affect our right to receive any owed money. We can claim reasonable costs if you do not meet the agreement's requirements and repossess the vehicle if necessary.
Data Protection
We may use your information for market research and share it with relevant organizations if you breach the agreement.
Governing Law
This agreement is governed by the law of the country where it is signed, and disputes may be settled in that country's courts.
Severance
If any part of this agreement is deemed invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
Insurance Cover
Insurance cover is subject to the expiry date on the cover note. Contact the hire company to extend cover if it overlaps with the vehicle return date.
